About Our School
Ayresome Primary School is a multicultural inner city school. The school was opened in 1902, it is a two storey building typical of schools built in that period. It is a large, well maintained building which we are actively trying to improve.

The surrounding area is mostly terraced housing but a park borders the school. There are two playgrounds, a developed garden area and a building used by the local community Ayresome Community Enterprise.

About Our Town
Our School is located in the North East town of Middlesbrough, which stands on the River Tees, and its history can be traced back to 686AD

Middlesbrough is well know for its Transporter Bridge which was built in 1911 and carries cars and passengers across the river to Stockton.

The town is also proud of its football club which used to play near the school at Ayresome Park.
